Journaling and Dreams for Spiritual Growth
Presenter:
Lydia Lennihan
Description:
Dreaming has a rich history and tradition in Christianity, and for good reason. Dreams offer us a path of communication with the Divine and our higher selves. In this three-day seminar, we will be exploring dreams and their meaning in our lives. In the morning we will discuss dream theory based on the work of the psychiatrist, Carl Jung. This will include symbols and their importance, definitions of archetypes, patterns of dreams, and the different types of dreams. After a contemplative break of prayer and meditation, we will conclude the day with discussions about journaling and processing information that dreams offer us.
Lydia Lennihan, LPCC - is a licensed clinical counselor and approved CEU provider for psychotherapists in New Mexico. She is a published writer, teacher, mythologist and speaker. She has been studying Jungian dream analysis for over 15 years and brings a wealth of experience to the class. She has a private practice and specializes in Jungian psychotherapy.
